Due to a human mistake, we lost all of our database. Of course we do have backups but due to the fact that Zone-H DB is roughtly 80 Gigabytes and our backup is performed over the Internet it means that each backup takes roughtly one week to be performed. It also means that the backup we mounted is one week old, there is nothing we can do about it except apologising with everyone: crackers, researchers and last but not least all of Zone-H operators who manually verified roughtly 20,000 mirrors in the last week. It is also a good occasion to ask to all of you if you might be keen to donate to Zone-H one of those nice DLT (Digital Linear Tape) backup units. It would be the first time that somebody would give something to Zone-H rather than just taking. SyS64738 and Zone-H staff
