This happened at a time when we had just a few hundreds of visitors per day. From then on, we have been constantly growing in audience, that’s why two years later we decided to go live with other language versions (Russian, French) and to migrate the website to a new hosting server with better performances. Our efforts have been soon repaid by an even larger audience, so large that many other requests to open new language editions kept arriving to our mailbox...
You know the story: one year ago we launched the multi-language platform that is now hosting all the current thirteen language versions. Negotiations are ongoing for the Indonesian and Chinese editions, you know... it's not easy to put together the necessary staff (and to keep it united) for every single mirror. But we are doing our best. Zone-H started with no budget and no infrastructure, all we had was our brain and fingers and still today, we are forced to run seminars in order to collect the money we need to run the Zone-H network. And that is what makes us proud, we never had to ask for money to anyone, this is also the reason why we managed in keeping ourselves vendor-independent - which is an uncommon characteristic, nowadays, in the ITsec industry. Do you agree, don’t you? One year ago it was also the time we decided to lower the focus on defacements and to move on into the production of self-written contents, mainly focused on the digital warfare as we thought that was an uncovered news area. This initiative also received a very warm welcome from our audience. No website before ever provided in a consistent way such contents. Well, what to say? You helped making Zone-H bigger and better by sending e-mails full of useful advices so this is also your Birthday... please, keep on sending your ideas and comments!
